Jan has been eating solid food now for a couple days.So is feeling better about that. She says the foood is very good, and there are lots of choices. Not like at home. Her legs are still very sore, but she is able to hobble short distances.I might be able to catch her in the bed room when she gets home. She always out ran me before.
Hopefully chemo treatments will resume next week sometime, and radiation the week after that.O boy oh boy what fun.
Not sure when she,ll be home butthe sooner the better.Love Mike

Jan Jan Jan...I knew you had a lot of energy. Thanks Mike for confirming that. Unfortunately for Mike, you'll have to use that energy a little differently for a bit but I'm sure he won't mind :) You have what it takes to get through.
Good to hear you're feeling better.
Best wishes and keep up the good work.

Hi Jan
So pleased to hear you are on solid food again and are able to get around a little easier. We hope you are soon back on the chemo and it works well this time so that it won't be too long before you return to Newmarket. Chin up. Always thinking of you.

Glad to read you're eating Jan...and hope your treatment will be able to continue soon. Keeping you and Mike in our thoughts and prayers,

Janet: I was so devastated to hear from Mike last night at the curling club registration of your illness, of which I was unaware. It's good to hear the news is somewhat improved, but we'll all be hoping for you with every crossed finger we can muster, that it will get better and better, and soon we'll be welcoming you back on the ice. Take the very best care of yourself, and I know Mike is doing everything he can to ease the situation and look after you.
All the very best, Pat Porth/Al Norrena
Hi Jan:
Just catching up from taking another little trip up north. Glad to hear good news (who would have thought getting back on chemo would be good news!)
Each passing day brings you closer to home. Keep that happy thought in mind. Get better.
Love Lyn and Harry.
It was great seeing you last Friday and you looked fantastic. With that positive attitude and the love of your family and friends there can be no doubt that you will beat this. Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Janet! Just want to say a quick "hello" while I have a spare moment here at work. Glad to hear you are doing better. I'd love to visit you but my evenings are filling up quick with kid stuff...hockey especially. There are also some colds brewing in my family so you wouldn't want me there. Just know that I'm thinking of you everyday and even my family (who has never met you) always asks me how you are doing!!

Hi Jan, great to talk to you the other night. We are thinking of you and praying each day you are getting back on track ( GI speaking) a little humor! from a nurse of course. Hope chemo goes ahead to bring you closer to beating this thing into remission.
I doubt you feel lonely with all this blogging going on and all the love you must feel from all your great family, callers, writer, visitors by what we see! I hope your walking continues to improve as the other symptoms resolve so you can chase Mike around the room, it is private no? Oh well, lots of time for such things.
Jan, know that you are loved and very missed here in Newmarket, soon to be curling group, and surely by your family at home. blessings! ps. are you keeping an eye for cute docs for your single friends at curling?
