Hi Everyone - it's me, Janet, in person finally.
Things are looking better today. I'm finally back on food (well, just liquids for a few days). My first meal was jello - and who would believe jello could taste so good!!!! Once my digestive system is fully functional I'll be able to resume my chemo treatments. Thank to everyone for their good wishes and support - it really means a lot to me.
Now - for a very slow walk back to my room and a rest after this exertion!!!

That's great news the things are finally starting to move. Kerry is at golf but will be thrilled to hear that you feeling better. We are hoping to visit tomorrow, but will call before we leave.
wow..... very good timing because I was thinking that once you are up to it we need a "bloggers" party! It will be great to meet all the others, who's notes we see.

Great to see your note. Have been following the blog each day, it is a good way for all of us to keep up to date. We of course, continue to think of you and Mike each day and send only positive thoughts your way.

Janet, Sue asked me to "blog" and say how thrilled she was to hear your voice on the phone. Although you were having a real bad day when she called, she said it picked her up just to hear your voice. You know how much we love you and Mike, and we are thinking of you all the time. Hradly an hour goes by when your name doesn't come up in one context or another ( all good I might add ).
We have just been over to water all your flowers, and we happened to bump into Mike on his way for a free dinner with one of your many good friends. He is coming to us tomorrow night and we are going to order his favourite Thai food and have a few glasses of wine. We will certainly drink to your good health Jan, and your speedy recovery.

It's so great to hear you've had a good day and that you're able to eat... ah Jello - nectar of the gods! Thomas and I moved my oldest son, Mike, back to university this weekend and his house is just around the block from PMH. When you're up to having visitors, we'd like to see you. In the meantime, we're thinking of you and sending you love and light.
