Hello everyone,Mikey here.Still have that dame cough ,so Iam unable to go and see Jan .It better break soon,or she may not remember what I look like.That might be a good thing.
They lanced her right leg today and drianed of the infection.They also installed a
drip line.If that was not enough just around her dinner time,they took her for the first of eight radation treatments.They did reheat her dinner for her. Sounded like she was in good spirts after all the ordeals.

Sorry to hear you still have a bug Mike, as that also probably makes the days a bit longer for Jan not having you there. Glad to hear though that Jan's legs are getting treatment and things are moving along. We keep thinking of you both sending lots of good healthy energy.
Please continue to keep us updated even though you are just getting the phone version :)
Hi Jan & Mike...glad some treatments were able to begin, and that Jan's leg is more comfortable. Mike - hope you get better real soon, I'm sure Jan misses having you there!

Janet/Mike............glad to hear that things are progressing O.K.
Sue and I are in Calgary until Sunday 23rd.( it snowed this morning) then we are flying to Vancouver to visit our great niece ( who you know about )in the hospital.We will fly home on the 27th, but don't get in until 1.00am, so will call you both on the 28th.
Mike, are you sure you are not just using the "cough" excuse to get in a few extra rounds of golf instead of visiting your lovely wife? Boy, some guys will use any excuse!
I'll keep an eye on him for you Jan as soon as I get back, and will report directly to you.
We are excited that you have continued your treatments and are making progress with the leg thing.

I know it seems like we've fallen off the face of the earth, but we think of you every day. Ron is in Sunnybrook, for some minor surgery, and hopes to get out tomorrow. We hope you are getting thru the treatments ok, so you can get out of there. Ron's only been in 12 hours, and he's chomping to get out! Maybe someone can advise us of your new expected release date on this wonderful blog?
