Happy Easter to you All.
Seems way to early for Easter this year though, and definitely too much snow for Easter!!
Mike and I were at the Southlake Regional Hotel (Hosp. for those of you not familiar with Newmarket) from about 9:00 p.m. Friday night until 8:00 a.m. Sat. as I was having severe stomach pain. They don't really know what caused it but finally gave me some pain medication at about 1:00 a.m. and that helped and I seem much better today. I had a new medication on Thursday so perhaps that had something to do with it.
We had a lovely turkey dinner Sat. night with some of our family (my kids and Mom and Bette and Glen). Fortunately we had leftovers so get to do it again tonight - just Mike and I though. Mike's parent's and kids are coming for dinner tomorrow so MORE food!! I'm so glad I haven't lost my appetite.

Jan.............glad you enjoyed Easter with the kids. Of course,we have seen you and Mike since then, and must say, you are looking good!
I am, however, somewhat disappointed that there are no other postings on your blog! What's happened to everybody? Come on folks, Jan still needs your support and encouragement.

ok I musy admit I really like the blogging too! It makes me feel like i'm fitting right in with high technology. Not to mention the frequent updates were really good and i still keep checking. ...i apologize for not being on here way more often...i want to give you an update on the PMH bike-a-thon...i'm at 20% of the $2500 minimum, but i have good news! A number of staff have organized a few fundraisers that will ensure that i make the target - cause i can't bike if i don't get to the $2500 - one is a poetry contest being done through the elementary school system; mark is auctioning his cottage as part of the live auction at the 'treat yourself auction' next week; yet another is a pizza night at destinatios that peggy lund is organizing, so we're going to make it and my workout routine will not be for not..other than sculpting this andonis body lol! I would like to stop in Friday to see you; will call first.
I love the postings from you and Mike and like to read the responses. You and your family are not forgotten Jan. I was hesitant to call you before now because I think you had many wellwishers calling. I didn't want to overload you. I think many are still calling and interested but I think you are stronger to receive a few more calls. Everyone says you are looking great...a sign of improving health. Excellent. I am so glad and greatful for your recovery. Still praying. No one can have too many prayers. God Bless you and your whole family. Talk to you soon. ....within a MONTH! Don't want to promise too soon! I'm not good at promptness!!
